First, thanks to Dan for offering the Plus membership; I just signed up for an Andy Jackson's worth of membership.
Second, I hope to jump full-tilt into the blogosphere here in the coming weeks and month, but in the meantime, feel free to visit my other two blogs, begun in the wake of my GIS studies at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. My blog, Whistling Past the Graveyard (http://whistlingpastgraveyard.blogspot.com) is about cemeteries and land use.
My other blog, also called Eclectic Pedestrian (http://eclecticpedestrian.blogspot.com) is about more general New Urbanism/smart growth/planning/zoning/etc. issues. I recently added a semi-regular feature called Song Scapes, where I hope to spark discussions on popular songs that address the issues of land use and sprawl. Popular songs have long addressed social justice issues, but relatively few actually delve into smart growth topics. First up - and feel free to join the conversation - is the Pretenders' "My City Was Gone."

And to think I didn't have it in the Buzz feed aggregator. I fixed that mistake.
