18 inches bro.. it's all you need.
I can be a little uppity at the counter but today took the cake.
A former probation officer said a certain new development was bad news for town because it will breed nothing but gangbagers. I took offense because
a) i know quite a few families that live there and it is a great place to live and my kids love the neighborhood. It's very walkable, lots of parks and trails
b) home start around the mid 300's there, so pretty tough for the gangbangers to buy
c) i had a hand in writing the master plan and graphics for the entitlement of the project circa 10 years ago.
I basically told they guy that is a very rude thing to say. Should have smirked, "well you know the sticks breed nothing be meth heads and supremacists, but what do i know.
No exemptions for overhangs here . . . we're hard core.
We measure to the building....but we have an unwritten rule...my rule. Exceptions apply to eaves, porches, etc. Vertical clearance my butt.
