Ranking of US cities by percentage born in that state
From the 2000 Census, the following is a ranking of the percentage born in the same state.
Check out the largest cities at the top: Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester and Toledo. No new blood, and it shows. Surprised to see New Orleans and Birmingham up there, too.
56.24% of those living in Charlotte were born in North Carolina. I'm guessing the other 44.76% were born in Buffalo.
