We used GIS and 2009 oblique aerials as part of our research.
We will be sending our appeal in today.....about the same number or even more out of whack for us It appears our canvasing employees were enjoying adult beverages instead of counting units Or were too to complete the task

Recently my car has had a wicked shimmy coming from the front end, especially when turning left. I was fearing an alignment problem or possibly even a bad cv joint on my front right wheel, both of which I can't afford at the moment. Instead, I got a flat fixed and rotated and balanced the tires and it seems to be smooth sailing now. Total cost = $45. Now if only I could put off my needed new front brakes...

My question is how can they "not find" a street, an apartment complex, or even an entire subdivision ?

This is probably the wrong thread for this - but did anyone else see this article or anything similar about pfizer pulling out of the land involved in the Kelo v New London eminent domain case? Wow

I just got a call from our Census rep. in Denver......they have extended the deadline for the LUCA appeals to December 12, 2009 for us We needed the extension to finish our review. It looks like they didn't even visit some of our communities at all

A few months ago I was visited by the regional census rep. She was responsible for probably 50 counties. I told her of new and pending construction, and said I wanted to keep in touch. All she had was a phone number. No e-mail, no web. I gave up.

Waterbrick Randoms

Perrysburg Native Random.....Perrysburg is a suburb of Toledo. Rather well-to-do, quaint downtown, lots of history, bluffs overlooking the Maumee River valley. Perrysburg has a couple native sons that are quite famous. Jim Leyland is the current Manager of the Detroit Tigers.

Although not born in Perrysburg, Jerry Glanville lived much of his younger days in the Toledo 'burb. His most famous gig was as Head Coach of the Atlanta Falcons. His "specialty" was leaving game tickets for Elvis Presley. (Elvis had died many years prior to the ducat drop.)

This week Jerry Glanville resigned as Head Coach at Portland State University. Their football record under his (lack of) leadership was horrible.

Waterbrick Random.....Read an interesting article in a plastics magazine. A company in NW Ohio is manufacturing containers that hold fluid, such as water, with a focus on distributing them in 3rd world countries. The containers are designed so they are stackable, creating very thick and very strong (load supportive) walls. The end users finish with the liquid and fill the containers with sand.

Cool.
