    CNN on line 2

well, I just got out of a table top exercise for a Mass Maritime Rescue - there was a lot of testosterone in that room, wow - and I learned that I have to be as much as @$$hole about getting heard and being part of the command structure as the Public Information Officer as I do as the Planning Director

I have participated in those too,
and because I don't wear a uniform, badge, or have rank (dept head),
I have been treated that same way.
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

I've been in some meeting where I had to check to see whether I had become invisible. I'm not small (6'3", 230 #) but it has been apparent in some cases that there was a meeting going on and I was not a part of it.

It could be worse. They could have acknowledged you by calling you "honey" or "missy"..... (which, unfortunately I know from experience!)
