    Are you smarter than a 5th grader 12/6/11

    There are 8 parts of speech in english:
    A. Noun
    B. Verb
    C. Adjective
    D. Pronoun
    E. Interjection
    F. Preposition
    G. Adverb
    H. Conjunction

    Correctly identify which parts of speech the following words are:
    1. impatience
    2. is
    3. aboard
    4. interjection
    5. carry
    6. often
    7. despise
    8. shout
    9. subjective
    10. beautiful
    11. absolutely
    12. yet
    13. ours
    14. continuous

    3 and 12 are dependent on context. 4 is dead wrong. Interjection is a noun.

    I got 12 out of 14. I missed #3 and #14. As someone who was in Honors English and loved grammar, I'm a little disappointed in myself. But it's been awhile, I s'pose.
