Big Brother & the man are coming for you

    What's next, retinal scans?

The push would effectively expand the scope of the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act, a 1994 law that requires the telecommunications industry to build into its products tools that U.S. investigators can use to eavesdrop on conversations with a court order.

Man, seems like everday, more and more of our privacy (and rights) are being thrown out the window, or swept under the carpet.

They say with a court-order, but I don't buy it for one second.
A guy once told me, "Do not have any attachments, do not have anything in your life you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you spot the heat around the corner."

Makes me think of line from Marathon Man

    Is it safe?

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
    From Kelly's Heroes (1970)

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

SEE! I TOLD YOU THAT THEY ARE LISTENING! Everyone said I was crazy!

That does remind me, the planning office at my old job had a feeling that the IT director was reading our E-Mails, so we would always put "HI HENRY" on the first line of all interoffice e-mails.
"A long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defense of custom. Time makes more converts than reason." - Thomas Paine Common Sense.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.
