I have a special category set up in my Palm for lists: typical groceries, books, cd's, movies, house stuff, places to visit, stuff to have done on the cars.....even lists of lists... B-)
    I don't dream. I plan.

My new list is Movies to Rent without Rob - and I put the movies that are out NOW, so that I don't forget I wanted to see them 3 months later - ie: Triplets of Belleville or Bubba Ho Tep.

This website shows a collection of other people's grocery lists that they leave behind in the shopping carts, etc.

Personally, I'm not very consistent with lists. Sometimes I'll write one (and leave it at home) and other times, I'll just work from memory

The only list that I keep is a list of a few CDs and DVDs that I want. However, when I get into a CD and DVD retailer, I almost always manage to purchase other than what's on my short list. Damn!

    An anomaly

I stopped making lists of any type a few months ago for reasons I can neither understand nor explain. B-)

Wow… GREAT thread! As for me… not only am I guilty, people but also tease me about how organized I am at times with my lists. I am also one of many people on here who are post-it happy. BUT they are organized.

I do all sorts of crazy lists, but I know people worse than me. I had a friend in college who had a list of women he wanted to “date” before he graduated from college. NO he did not finish his list.

I make a To do List everyday.
I have a House Improvement list( and am slowly but successfully working on it)
I have a book collections/writer collections to buy list ready( havent worked on them much( Only worked on Wilbur Smith, Isaac Asimov, PG Wodehouse and John Le Carre)
Although I try to make lists for many things I am not able to.
Sometimes depite my dilligence and listing mania I just go ahead without the list, using my mental list.

Making work related lists and Agenda for a meeting list has made me more focussed and efficient.

    The lists I destroyed:
Nice Girls I knew and liked.(Last year )
Great looking arses( film actressess)(Last year )
Books I had read( many years ago)
and other I just dont remember( good for me )

I am getting more focussed on what lists to make and which ones not to make. Another kind of mania really. :-P

Not a list maker here...usually use lists prepared by others, though. I do find it important to be a note taker, which I am.
