    last meal

While reading a story in the newspaper earlier about a death row inmate, they included his request for his last meal:
Twenty-four soft shell tacos, six enchiladas, six tostados, two whole onions, five jalapenos, two cheeseburgers, one chocolate shake, one quart of milk and one package of Marlboro cigarettes. (Prohibited by policy).

If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
(if this is too morbid, we can scrap this whole thread!)

Last meal....hmmm.... prime rib rare, plate 'o shrimp, chicken wings, baked beans (I want them to have to clean up a mess after they electrocute me), clam chowder, a 12 pack of guiness and a pack of Parliment Lights. :-P

    lobster tail

    yellowtail and salmon sashimi
ben and jerry's new york super fudge chunk ice cream
and to drink? a nice reisling (with the dinner, not the ice cream )

How the hell could he eat all that?

For me, no food necessary. A bottle of Stolichnaya will be fine.

A bowl of seafood gumbo, a softshell crab po'boy and a plate of boiled crawfish, from Morton's in Madisonville, La. I would also want a couple Abita Goldens to wash it down. if I wasn't totally stuffed, maybe rum bread pudding for dessert.

    Just a little off-topic

You should read, "The House of the Dead" by Dostoyevsky. It's stories and observations from his years in a Siberian prison in the early 1860's. As you might imagine, vodka played a major role in prison life. They didn't have capital punishment per se, but if you died while receiving your 2000 lashes, that's just the way it goes.

Disgusting question/comment: I think I know WHY he asked for such a "productive" meal.

I would probably ask for sushi or Thai.

Who needs the gas chamber? Just put the guy in a locked room overnight.

Seriously ... a 32 ounce steak, medium well, Argentinian beef. No fat, bones, gristle or toenails. Fries from a Kansas City barbecue joint. A Trinidad from Fidel's personal humidor. A 12-pack of Samuel Adams Millennium -- $100 a bottle. I've had the pleasure of drinking the equivalent of a bottle, and I can say without a doubt that I now know what God tastes like, if He were in liquid form. After-dinner snack - pizza from Bocce Club and wings from Gabriel's Gate in Buffalo. More Samuel Adams Millennium. Milk and Jingles Christmas cookies before I go to bed.

The cruel part? I'd probably fill up on the bread my captors would give me before the steak was served.

Just outside of downtown not too far from I-787 and the Thurway exit 23. There is a place called Lombardo's in downtown. But Sam's is yummy. Was it small inside? It tends to feel crammed but the food is yum!

When Cyburbians start producing their fair share of serial killers (we planners are horribly underrepresented as a profession in this area) I will want to hear what you would order as a last meal - in the meantime check this out to see what the professionals order.
