    WTF Wednesday

There is something about the middle of the week that is the worst. The weekend is a long past memory and the days until the next weekend are still in plural form. Its no longer taco Tuesday, and whopper wednesday is not what it once was.

Today, it is raining outside, it is not all that warm, I have a busy day ahead of me, and the wife and kids are not feeling all that great. It is a WTF Wednesday.

What are your thoughts on the suckiest day of the week?

Wednesday usually ends with a few friends having a pint talking about cars and life. The day itself might be crappy, but at the end I know the weekend is coming.

Tuesdays tend to have the "it's only Tuesday" type of feeling.

My elected officials meet every Tuesday, but now I have a new group and I don't dread it as much. So now it's a toss up between Monday and Wednesday.

I don't mind Wednesdays. Once you get past Wednesday you are in the home stretch to the weekend.

I'll stand by my earlier ranking of days of the week. Weds is a time when the end of the work week can first be contemplated and truly deserves its nickname. It was a labor to get here, but now that it has arrived we can take comfort that even if the wind is still against us, the road ahead promises at least to be a downhill journey.

My job is being eliminated due to budget cuts, yay!! After only 9 months in. Ville de Montreal feels that the money that funded my position (and partly that of two of my coworkers) is better spent on things like a Rodeo and Light Display for the city 375th instead of for Community Groups. Multiple organisations across the city are affected not just mine.

Gearing up for Interviews again. Good news I will have my Canadian Permanent Residency no matter what in 2018! And when I do get that and come back to Montreal (if I cant find another job and do need to leave - current work permit expires in June, and I need full time work to renew it until my PR comes) my organization will have Part-Time hours to give me, so I wont be coming back empty. So 6-8 months back in New York might not be such a bad thing worse comes to worse. Fight some Fascism, do another semester of Grad School, hangout on the 2nd Ave Subway and chill hard in the Bronx with @MacheteJames.

    Such as life.

Weds and Thurs are usually my busiest days. I am swamped and today I skipped lunch.

    Will this day ever end?!?!?

Today is my mom's birthday. She passed away because of cancer on my dad's birthday 7 years ago this summer.

I know how you feel losing a parent to cancer - 45 years since my father passed - lung cancer. He wasn't even 51 yrs old.

This morning the weatherman dropped the S word on live television when he was talking about the 7 day forecast.

    You know, the .....snow...... word.

Supposed to get down to something like 10 this weekend, but I don't think the weatherman said anything about snow.

Here in the Ohio River Valley, a weatherman said that "word" on tv.

I see a new car in my future. What would you get if you had a budget of around $8500
