    Pete-rock welcomes Pete-pebble!

Today my wife and I welcomed a new addition to the family -- an 8 lb., 20 in. long chip off the old block! Our little boy was born at 10:23am today.

I don't think I mentioned much (if at all) about my wife's pregnancy here, but the baby's doing great, the wife is fantastic, and my nights will soon have much less sleep.

Glad that Mom and pebble are doing well.

Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.

    Congratualtions!

So long as he doesn't look like your avatar I think the world will be safe. Cheers and good luck!

Congratulations on the new "pebble" in the family. No doubt he will be solid as a pete-rock. The eyes of Cyburbia await some pics.

Thanks to everyone for their well-wishes!!!

This child is the fourth for me (three of my own, and one stepchild). But with the others being nearly 15, 12 and 9, it's been awhile since I've done the late night feedings, diapers and other stuff.

As for our newborn's name, he's Phelmon David III, named after several distinguished gentlemen.

Give me a moment and I'll get some pics up.
