I'll go along with 8. It's not like 12 hours was helping us Silly Vikings anyway.

It's the price of oil, the war of the spoils, where's your bucket for the big bailout? Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, we've got a lot to drink about!.
12 hours to 8 hours won't make a bit of difference if you suspend time for 8-10 hours at night. May as well not do it.

Perhaps what we need is a more radical solution to move things along in the lower rounds. Howzabout this: We all provide Mastiff with a list of players, or give him permission to draft "best remaining". When it's your turn on the draft, you have a smaller number of hours (maybe 1-2) to make your own pick, before Mastiff makes it for you based on the list you have provided. I would suspend the draft overnight and on weekends.
Failing that, can we all maybe soundoff and set aside one or two days where we can all be on-line at roughly the same time to get this done?
At the very minimum, I think we should all provide Mastiff with a short list of picks - enough to get through the next round.
As fun as that sounds... if we go to a flat 8 hours, that's three picks a day for 5 days x 5 weeks. That's 75 picks... or 4 1/2 rounds. If it goes like it has so far today, we won't get done.Originally posted by Tranplanner

OK...eight hours. I've been swayed. And having a draft buddy is a good idea. Just don't pick someone right ahead of you or you may give away your strategy...

And don't use an entire list. If you're 4 picks away, obviously 4 choices is enough!

If I plan to be away for more than a couple of hours I'll get Mastif a couple of picks. Most of the time I am not far from access.

I'm around all the time. I check like a crack head needs a fix. Cutting to 8 hours is fine by me, even if it includes the wee hours of the morning. I try to check before bed around (12ish) and when I get up for work (6:30ish). 8-|
