I was actually out working today, doing something that will be used and appreciated aftrer I leave here, how often do we get to say that.

Then I get back and waste my first round pick - not paying close enough attention, oops.

This could be bad news for Planderella and her running game. Ricky Williams retires!?!

    Great pick at #9 by the Argos. Ahman Green fell to me in the second round last year and was really the main reason I did so well. Top 3 RB IMHO. Drat, I think I play the Argos in week 1 if I'm not mistaken......Hope GB isn't playing my Lions :-}

Thanks - I wasn't sure if I should have taken a top QB instead seeing as how it looked like all the heavy-hitting RBs had already been taken. Then I did some looking around and saw Green was listed quite highly on a number of FF rankings and mock drafts. Then I wondered why no one had taken him (I thought maybe he had retired or something ).

Despite the practically season-ending injury last year, I think that my first round pick, Mr. Vick, is back in form and will definitely produce worthwhile points for my team.

    Go B.E.K.'s!

    Any comments?

He's certainly a fantasy star -- if his line can keep him healthy. I purposefully drafted Alge Crumpler in my $$ league last year and suffered when he broke the leg. (Didn't help that everyone kept saying he'd be back in october -- no november -- no december, so like an idiot I din't drop him.)

Surprisingly, there are some excellent picks still available.

I think my #15 and #19 picks will be nice, indeed.

Sorry about the delay in my pick (at least I didn't wait until 2 am!). I am on vacation until Wed, but have access to a computer once..maybe twice..a day.

Highest point producing WR on the Board.....and the highest ranked overall player left on my draft board.

I always go for the best fantasy player available on my rankings for the first few rounds, then draft positions missing afterwards.

Should be an interesting WR pairing with my rookie selection of Roy Williams.

If you didn't pick him, I was very close to doing so.

The only problem with Moss is the intangables. Like whether he feels like playing or not. I would have picked him too, in your draft spot. You just never know how he will do.

even if he is having an "im not playing" type of year, he's going to give you 10 touchdowns and a basketfull of yards.

I had E. James, R. Moss, F. Taylor as 1-2-3 left on my draft board.

The two knuckleheads :-P before me pilfered my number 1 & 2 picks, so I had to go with "not-so-fragile (we pray)" Freddy Taylor. I'm satisfied but a lil wary.....

Yes, and I have a bit of an issue with that. If the person before me picks after 4:30p.m. EST, there's no way I'll beat the clock (I'm not going on-line in the evenings).

Just PM me with a pick or two in the order you want them. I check all day and half the night, and I can make it for you.

I knew it could be an issue.....but figured by logging in around 7 AM eastern I would be OK....since plankton was next in the western timezone.

so - we have a "viking" rule to make sure the draft is done in a timely fashion...

Should we also have a "pay attention to who has already been drafted" rule?

I propose that we call it the "Boiker" rule :-P
