Naaahhh. I'll chack before work in the early AM to see if he's picked, and make mine if I can.

You play hold 'em? I got invited to play in a tournament in November....but probably won't be able to play, since it's right about the time Baby NHPlannerGroupie is due.

Well...he was the best player left on my board.....now I need to concentrate on something other than receivers and TE's!

Gonzo is worth a 3rd or 4th... TE's in general just ain't. How Shockey went so early is beyond me!

Couldn't commit myself much longer with just a rookie QB. At least I have another pick quickly coming up!

I was scratching my head on the Shockey pick as well.....Gonzo is the only TE I'd pick this early.....end of rd 3 seemed about right.

Yeah with 16 teams, grabbing him in the 3rd isnt bad at all.

Okay, Gonzalez is one thing, but Shockey is another story altogether. Keep talking strategy here guys. I like to see what cards you're holding so I can whoop yo' butts!

I have to say that so far the Iowegians look the best - Bennett in the third round was huge to go along with Duece & Chad Johnson - not bad.

My team is mediocre at best at this point, but I've got big plans for the upcoming rounds...... :5

If you're picking Jones is sure is! Everyone thinks he's the saviour, but he's been a meltdown everywhere he's gone. Make sure you grab A-Train! He'll be back carrying the rock before too long...

A-train will have a solid year, but needs to earn the starter role (provided that Jones doesn't just loose it). The camp news I'm hearing about Jones is very positive though.

Jones isn't a savior. he won't provide god-like #s. He'll give 900-1100 yrds, 8-10 td's the year though. I should have saved him for a 5th-6th rounder. I doubt he was high on many lists.

ugh....at that point in the draft now where I'm not sure what direction to go.....not all that keen on Staley.....but need at least something at the RB position before all the potential starters are gone.....was torn between RB and QB in the 4th round.....

I had him as the 6th best RB left on the Board....and seeing who had already picked RB's....I'd bet he would have lasted at least another round or 2

Thanks, I am ok with my picks so far. Need a little luck in the next few rounds though.

    Bummer, MD...

    News
Redskins wide receiver Laveranues Coles fell into a large puddle while chasing down a pass on Monday afternoon. The site caused some laughter until Coles limped back to the huddle. The receiver appeared to aggravate his lingering right foot fracture. "I don't want to keep harping on it because it's an excuse," Coles told the Washington Times. "Guys play with nagging injuries all year long. If it comes up and you all see me sitting on the bench and not playing, then that's when you should harp on it. Until then, it's a dead issue."

We need to get used to seeing Coles limp all season, as this injury is going to come up over and over and over - just as it did in 2003. Laveranues played through the pain last season and will do so again this year. It should not stop him from reaching decent numbers, but it will keep him from being a top-tier fantasy receiver.

Initially, but I was allowed to drop him and make a compensatory pick.
