    A taste of Paris

Ah, Paris. Where you can have fresh baguettes, escargot, and French (kissing) lessons...

I have posted the medium sized images here, if you want to see larger versions you can view them in the gallery.

Looking up from right under the Eiffel Tower!

This one was part of my study on crazy illegal parking that seemed to happen all over Paris - it's like, if there's room on the sidewalk, well let's park the car there! I've got double parking round corners, front wheels up on kerb... you name it!

Wow.. Paris looks like a grey blob from above... the buildings all hit some kind of ceiling and stay there, with only some minor exceptions..

Gee, french sure behave crazy while driving... did they learn from the italians?

Oh yeah, my thoughts on Paris? A very beautiful city, and consistently beautiful, rather than just around famous landmarks - there are little parks and statues and attention to detail everywhere. I was impressed by that. However I wouldn't want to live there. Too many damn tourists And it's beautiful but not necessarily 'cosy'. For me, Amsterdam had a more human scale and felt more 'comfortable'. But then I guess I only had 2 days there in which I raced around the tourist attractions, and didn't explore residential areas.

^-- That parking situation looks like a Chicago Department of Revenue wet dream.

I thought this would be a thread on Paris Hilton. Nice pics anyway.

As someone who has ridden the Paris subway before (helloooo double entendre), I'm guessing that Paris and Paris probably both share certain skanky qualities
