Let's Create the Cyburbia Political Party & Platform Kids!

Yes, you read that right. Let's consider ourselves a Political Party. We got diversity comming out our ying-yangs as well as motivated people with a passion for public service. So, why couldn't we beat the two party system at its own game?

Steps
1. Let's take nominations from the floor for members of the platform committee.
2. We let the nominiees accept or decline their nominations
3. We vote in a few days -let's say 5 people- and the top vote getters get to work.
4 They caucus and produce a platform by Cyburbians and for Cyburbians as well as the rest of the nation.
5. The members vote the entire platform up or down.
6. Then we nominate a slate of candidates for office who promise to run on the Cyburbia Platform.

Who do you nominate for the Cyburbia Platform Committe?

Cyburbians - Feel free to campaign for any position you desire in the party.

I nominate Biscuit , who with 3.43 posts/day averages and double clube membership credentials clearly demonstrates greater devotion to the Great Cyburbian Cause and should take precidence over any wonky environmental type individual.

Regardless of the platform commit members, I propose the following five planks:

• The total eradication of kittens (of all ages) (oh, and ferrets) and all measures to circumvent PETA objections;
  Mandated full recovery impact fees;
  A 50 moratorium on the construction of new interstate interchanges;
  All referenced to "minimum" in zoning ordinances relating to distance measurements must be reversed to "maximums" (Example a minimum setback becoming a maximum setback); and
  The outlawing of rural water and sewer services.

To be honest, I absolutely dispise cats.... period. That's why right after my divorce the ex gets my daughters a kitten. Now when I get the kids (every weekend), they have scratches all over their body and smiles on their faces. I'm like.... "How'd you get that terrible scratch?". And with a glazed over eyes and zombie grin they say, "Daisy scratched the hell out of me, isn't she sweet". I'd drop kick the beast from the 50 yard line if I could just get my hands on it.

I find myself in complete agreement with Budgie on the female issue and therefore nominate him to the Platform Committee.
