    The two fat kids both got some of the cake in the end though eh? I personally don't like the automall concept, but since so many different dealerships are owned by a single company (United Auto for example) I can understand why they like it.

    From a traffic perspective the auto mall in general has an opportunity to reduce trips. From a consumer perspective its one stop shopping.

    I think its an excellent use --- in the right location.

    Heck, I agree with gkmo. I consider old school auto dealerships a blighting use in "urban" and "suburban" commercial districts, so consolidate them at one location, redevelop the former strip locations with something more "urban." Of course, if you replace your old dealerships with used car emporia, you've not gained much.
