Oooh, the psychoboys get the red-hot planktons -- winners of four straight. And it is a major bye-week for me. Looks like I'm going to have to make some things happen.

I’ve got to take on some Hot Grits, and with Culpepper throwing 5 touchdowns a game, it is going to be very tuff to beat her.

So, does the team in first place buy the first round? Or is it the team with the longest winning streak?

    Oh . . . wait . . . never mind . . .

Here's a round of beers on me:

Being in first place doesn't mean anything. Ask plankton who held down that spot all of last season until Mastiff beat him in the championship game.

I just can't seem to catch a break.

At least I can "blame" someone else for my team this year.

Will have to do a lot more research and planning next year.

    D'oh!

So, when do we start touting our three keepers? Barring a massive injury (or sudden retirement), it looks like I'll be holding onto Holt, A. Johnson, and A. Gates. At least my receiving corp is set for next year.....

I'm thinking we can declare them sometime before next season. Offseason trading (including draft picks) can be a lot of fun. We do it in another league I'm in. I may have a real good #4 guy... and someone has a mediocre #3 guy (like Antonio Gates ) I can trade away my player and last draft pick for his #1 or #2 pick and a throw in player. You want to keep the rosters and picks balanced...

I'll set up a thread and we can discuss it...

Sorry G.R.I.T.S., what with the upcoming nuptials and all, but I needed that win

BTW: How many teams make the playoffs and what is the format for the playoffs?
