Oxford Street, London street analysis wanted

Hi,
I'm looking for some quick info on Oxford Street, London. In particular, I'm looking for street sections, streetscape analysis (ie. building heights, scale, proportion) and any other street design related info.

I've looked on-line, but keep getting bogged down with shopping sites, etc. Any good information out there that someone can direct me to?

I may have some photos of Oxford Street in my files somewhere. I can't think of any resources off-hand, but my recollection of Oxford Street is of a two-lane roadway with 4-6 storey buildings. No trees, sidewalks of varying width (1m-4m). The street itself is restricted to buses and taxis most of the day.
