It seems there is always some group out there coming up with their list of best places to live. So why not a Cyburbia ranking of the best cities?
Here is how it works. I'll open this thread up to nominations, with the following rules:
1) Any Cyburbian can nominate a city. To keep the list managable, I will only accept three nominations per member. The city may be in the United States or Canada.
2) To further reduce the number of possible cities (Hey, if each member nominated three unique cities, we could have about 5000 candidates!), only cities nominated by two or more members will be included in the poll.
3) The nomination period will close at 5:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Friday, September 17, 2004.
4) I will post a list of all the nominated cities in a poll. Voting will take place over the next week.
5) If there is no clear ranking, I reserve the right to select the top ten or so vote-getters and conduct a follow-up poll.
As I said, this is the nomination thread. Post the (up to three) cities you want to nominate.
Mine are:
Madison, Wisconsin
Boulder, Colorado
Savannah, Georgia
