A new twist on neighborhood covenants fight

Gun dealer's rock stirs up a fuss
Inscribed 8-foot-long stone gracing Don Davis' front yard riles new neighborhood group.

Article headline in Saturday's Indianapolis Star.

    Interesting qoutes from article:

"president of the Highland Park neighborhood association, said the association's answering machine has been filled with protests about the rock,.... (which) is larger than many cemetery monuments. He said he hasn't received so many protests since Wal-Mart tried to build a store ...."

"The only way I am going to remove that rock is if one of our fine judges protecting the Constitution tells me to..."

    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.
