    New cyclist to list

Hello folks! I am interested in anything to do with bicycle-related planning for off road trails and on road amenities and issues. I work, live, and commute throughout the year here in Cyowa where not a single bike lane graces the streets of our capitol city.

I used to live in Cyboregon where a planning friend there suggested asking Dan, this WWW site's moderator if he is still a Bills fan!

Any published statistics relating to bicycle safety, lanes, and other amenities is greatly appreciated for MPO advisory work here!

Especially needed are NEW AND PROPOSED examples of directional signage used along bike routes and trails.

Welcome from a SW Indiana bicyclist.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Welcome from central New York, where I should be cycling more if i knew what was good for me.
All these years the people said he’s actin’ like a kid.

Welcome, I'm temporarily off my bike for a while but looking forward to my return to cycling. Get in touch with your state's DOT's bike-ped coordinator. Ours in big Mo is a friend and a geat resource.

Greetings from the north shore of the Ohio, Mile Marker No. 692.

We are developing a bike/pedway to connect the Falls Cities area with Louisville, KY. When our designers get some stuff to us I'll be happy to post it as it relates to signage, et cet, when I get it.

    Enjoy Cyburbia.

Welcome from 692 miles up river from Gedunker!

My employer has been working hard to advocate the creation of new bike trails and now has them all over the place. Soon you'll even be able to bike from here all the way to Washington, D.C. without having to worry about being mowed down by a car.

    Welcome from Chicagoland!

We are bike friendly out here, plus the terrain is flat, so that helps.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

The ends can justify the means.

Welcome, from the southern regions of Chile... where there's little groups of cyclists (me not included) that fight day after day against the mass transit buses and the gorillas driving them.
I hope you have a great time around here, and be sure to stick around. When you get to your 25th post you'll be enabled to post pics in our Gallery, so any concerns about it, just PM me.

Wecome from a fellow cyclist. Do it for fun and to escape work so not much help on your request for info. Have lots of ideas and knowledge, just from a slightly different perspective.

Welcome from Central FL, just north of Disney World! I am officially the bike/ped person on our staff, but being a "zoner" at heart, it's not really my area of interest. Hopefully Trail Nazi will chime in, she's got a lot of experience on bike issues.
