For many of us in the Mid West we are having some crazy spring storms... but it is the end of October! Many intersections and low sections of the streets are flooded, and the power has flickered on and off. Some of the schools around the area are not having classes today because of power outages and there must have been several accidents because the fire trucks and police cars are going every direction.

We had a persistent haze yesterday that lasted most of the day. Really quite rare for these parts. Today it is 69F and overcast. I'm ready for a little cold weather, to be honest.

I was 1 when that movie came out in 1980... (I had to look it up on line) I don't think that I saw that one.
The Fog is actually funny to me, its sooo bad.

Its Global Warming-- nothing too excitng on the East Coast, just typical fall weather in the Nation's Capital. There is a piece in the local paper about the Easern Shore in MD which is experiencing tides about 1 1/2 feet above normal. I would not be surprised if we begin to experience more "strange" weather as the planet warms up in the coming years.
Tell me that this end of October weather -- 79 degrees.

PERFECT day here in the midwest...85 degrees at the end of october...sunny, light breeze...just doesnt feel like two days before halloween. Cannot complain, I am getting out of the office three hours early to enjoy this perfect weather.

Perfect here in the panhandle today. Low of 67 degrees this morning; currently 81 with humidity at a tolerable 62%.
A nuisance may be merely a right thing in the wrong place — like a pig in the parlor instead of the barnyard.
It's a hot & humid 88 degrees down here in San Antonio. We have a "less hot" front blowing through looks like on Monday to bring us down to our normal fall temperatures, followed by a cool front that will put us in the low 60s for highs.

Warm and humid here, with a likelihood of thunder later, and a weird, humid, windless, reddish sunrise...("red sky at morning..." and all that). I love thunderstorms, but at the end of October? Looking forward to heaps of snow.

it was raining like all heck here in Chicagoland this morning. Not the greatest if you have to take the dog for a walk.
