    Secret Santa 2004 Edition

Since the originator of the SS gift exchange is on hiatus and the season is on us. I am willing to be the coordinator.

What I'll need from the interested parties is the following info PM'd to me.

Screen Name (won't be sent to yoru recipient, they have to guess)
    Real Name
    Mailing Address
    3 interests

Last year the limit was $10, lets keep it about the same.

    Any takers? Comments?

My PM mailbox is pretty empty right now so it should work OK.

The goal will be for me to send out the SS lists by next friday, so I'll need to know by November 11th if you are interested.

If you played last year and remember who your SS was also include the persons screen name so you don't get the same person twice.

I'm definately in. Last year was a hoot!

All I have to say is [insert deity of choice here] help whoever gets Rumpy as their SS!

In all honesty, his gift rocked.

    Count me in.
being Gedunker's SS for me would be too simple and easy.
    (Mind games begin)

    Q. What should be the mailing deadline ?

    Edit: PM sent.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Yes, but to be honest it was an illegal package according to the US Postal Service regs. I can hear the sender right now --- "No sir, there isn't any liquid in this package. Honest !!! "

I've been on board for less than a year. Can someone give me an idea how Cyburbia runs its Secret Santa operation? What sorts of gifts, how, when, where they're exchanged that sort of thing?
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

This thread pretty much covers last year's event. It worked well, so I can't see there being any changes made to the rules/instructions...if others feel differently, now's the time to chime in.

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Let's not be didactic in this profession, because that is a path to disillusion and irrelevancy.
