Hello from the 'Show Me State'

Hello, just joined the list and making the introductions.

I'm a transportation planner working in central MO for the state DOT since graduating from U Iowa last May.

Anywhoo, thanks and it's nice to be apart of the club.

Welcome from one of the Hoosiers in Teh Clubbe.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Welcome, don't worry about RJ and RT they don't bite, once they are medicated, with beer and wine, actually those may be the causes of their actions.
Too lazy to beat myself up for being to lazy to beat myself up for being too lazy to... well you get the point....

Welcome - Jefferson City is indeed a purty place. Get out on that Katy Trail and don't forget us bicyclists when you make our roads better.

Jenniplans, since you are a MoDOT employee I'd like to make a suggestion - "FIX YOUR HIGHWAYS" and get some control over billboards. Just a friendly suggestion from a Kansan who frequently goes to Missouri. In fact, I'll be in Warrensburg this weekend. Welcome to the Throbbing Brain (or Brian -- depending on your persuasion). Enjoy !!!!!

    Lol :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I offer a and for all those in the cyburbia community.

Just a few replies for those who wrote:
    * Chet - Saw your reply on another topic, but seriously, what's up with the Wisconsin quarter? I was expecting a pilsner glass and Green Bay Packer "G". It makes as much as the schoolhouse on the Iowa quarter... I went to school there, where's the corn? lol

    * Joe - Truman was an awesome rep for the state, not the pansy bible thumper Ashcroft is. Thanks for the praise.

    * El Guapo - The MKT is awesome and you're right, JC is pretty. It's just when that damn river starts to rise that people start to worry...

    * Budgie - There's a great Frank & Ernest cartoon on the web about MO roads. My co-worker, originally from KS, has it on her cube. So do I. Let me know and I'll email it to you.

    Cheers folks!
