    GaTech

I've seen GaTech referenced sort of peripherally a couple times on Cyburbia, ranging from indifferent to somewhat derisive.

What's the deal with GaTech? Is it really the best school for urban planning? Are the classes sucky/difficult/nothing special? Is the school good but the city sucks?

    Thanks.

Can't tell you about the 'ramblin wreck from ga tech, but...

While ATL metro is a mess, the area tech is in (downtown) is nice. GT is real close to midtown and that is a fun place to be right now.

Got my masters from Tech. Darn proud of it. There is no best school, but it should be in the top 10.

    Ok....

Tech grads I've worked with are fine and they say good things about their school....
You could do a lot worse than Atlanta for a place to attend grad school....
