    Howdy from Orlando

    Hi all,

Just wanted to follow the instructions and introduce myself. My name is Paul Lewis. Here is my bio statement:

Paul S. Lewis, AICP - I graduated from the Florida State University in 1986 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work, and from the University of Central Florida in 1988 with a Master’s in Public Administration. Since 1986, I have worked for the City of Orlando Economic Development Department, specializing in long-range planning. I've participated in a number of innovative planning projects including the Sustainable Communities Demonstration Project and Orlando’s Green Network initiative, a planning and urban design concept that seeks to connect the various components of Orlando’s public realm. Most notably, for the past eight years, I've been the Senior Planner/Project Manager for the Southeast Orlando Sector Plan, a 12,000+ acre greenfield/new urbanism project located south and east of the Orlando International Airport. I am also the City of Orlando's DRI Manager (DRI = Developments of Regional Impact.

    I'm looking forward to participating.

    Welcome!

My father and sister lived in Metro West for a few years and Im a avid Disney nut so Ive been to Orlando a number of times. The Southeast sector plan is very intresting and it will be fun to see how things turn out over time.

Greetings from the hilly part of the Hoosier State. As the father of two kids (ages 8 and 5) I'm trying to pretend that Orlando does not exist for the next, oh, 14 years or so.

Thanks for registering and feel free to join the fray!

Greetings from the former planning director of a small town 'round your neck of the woods. I missed the snow and cold, so I moved back to the Great Lakes region.
