    Greeting from Thailand

    Hi all,
I'm a landsacpe architect from Thailand. I'm interested in urban planning and design, though. I'm also finding a e-learning class about these issue. Any suggestions would be appreciate.

    Cheers,
    Mee

Welcome from the Hill Country of south-central Texas!

As to your question about e-learning opportunities--this area of education is rapidly expanding. I know Ohio State has some online continuing education stuff dealing with urban design and planning. Also, I think University of Colorado-Denver has some stuff. Someone mentioned a California school having online stuff, maybe University of California-Davis? I think design classes are a little more difficult to do online since they often involve creating site plans, etc that are difficult to submit online.

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."
