Working, but lurking every so often. Just in a quiet mood today.

It's the great Edward Abbey, my favorite author. I've been feeling kinda' curmudgeony lately, so it seemed appropriate.

I'll get over it. I just need more sleep.

    Edward Abbey

Just read a David Quaamen (sp?) book which includes a great essay about Abbey. Decided I should give him a try, what do you recommend?

For starters, either The Monkey Wrench Gang (which is what hooked me) or Desert Solitare (deep non-fiction, if there can be such a thing).
