Old films about city planning

OK, maybe this is the right forum,I don't know. Anyway, I did two searches at http://www.archive.org/ and found some great videos about city planning, Some are really funny. Luois Mumford wrote the commentary for The City, http://www.archive.org/movies/detail...ctionid=19331a I like the mention of Johnny Cakes and Hominy Grits. It's kind of boring but still entertaining.

I did a city planning search:

And Urban Planning search:http://www.archive.org/search.php?qu...ban%20planning

I can't seem to successfully download any movies off archive.org - does anyone know why? It either redirects me to some off site directory with browsing enabled, and once it even directed me to some national yiddish archive at archive.org.

Very strange.

Very strange.
Are you downloading the MPEG 4's? I remember trying this and having problems. The MPEG 2's worked well though. The negative is that they take up more space. But the quality is amazing. You can even watch them full screen. This website has been a gold mine for me. I have almost 20 MB's of these things downloaded. One I reccomend for this website in particular:

Community and Growth, Crisis and Challenge (1959)
