    Hi from frozen corn

    Hi,
I am a masters student in the urban and regional planning program at U of IL at Urbana (Yay Illini Bball!). Everything here is in hibernation since it is winter time, so I thought I would entertain myself with your friendly "cyburben" postings. I think planning rocks, even though it can be incredibly frustrating at times. I am particularly interesting in international planning, environmental planning, and community/economic development. Rock on fellow planners!

Welcome from SW Indiana, that is in the Central Time Zone.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Welcome from the Washington DC metro area

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Welcome from Cape Cod currently under about 3 feet of snow!
Planning is much like acting, as my old theater professor used to say, "If you sin, sin boldly, only you know if you are ad libbing." I follow this adage almost daily.

Howdy from a part of Florida that is cold for us Floridians, but not for people that experience winter.
