    List your previous jobs

    What cool or sucky jobs have you had? I have been told that I have an interesting background. Here it goes:

    1. Re-roofed barns and other construction stuff for a carpenter
    2. Worked at at factory that made packaging equipment
    3. Factory that made tool boxes
    4. Factory that rebuilt Ford engines
    5. Blaster, truck driver, loader operater at rock quarry
    6. Property maintence for a slum lord while getting BS in Wildlife Biology
    7. Various temp jobs with State DNR
    8. Loaded train cars with corn at grain elevator
    9. Environmental Educator / roadside vegetation mananger for a County Conservation Board
    9A. Above position was eliminated and ex wife decided she was a lesbian the same morning.
    10. Sold plasma/drove bus/mowed grass while in Grad school

    11. This job Planner/Webmaster/IT guy/ and whatever else they decide to stck me with for a small Iowa town

    7. UW-Milwaukee event and meeting set up crew (easiest job ever. Got paid to sleep, watch football, and drink beer on some occasions)

    9. Park maintennence/grounds crew worker (best job ever...i'd still be doing it if it paid better)

    Supermarket stock clerk - longest I worked anywhere (10 yrs.) - part time, $10/hr., full benefits, 3 weeks vacation. This job got me through school.

    E&S inspector for same Conservation District
    Associate Program Director for environmental organization, which is turning out to be env. education
    Adult advisor for girls' Lego club - the best job ever!

    I can't hold a job from the looks of this list

    1. Army boot polisher for 50cents a pair.
    2. Freelance lawn mower until 16
    3. Hauled Hay and assembled John Deer Max-Emerge planters for an implement dealer.
    4. Bag Boy at Ball’s Grocery Store – The food stamp store in town.
    5. Golf Course – Pro’s Assistant – I got to drive the ball pick up machine on the driving range.
    6. Cafeteria Dishwasher in the dorm chow hall.
    7. University Housing – dorm room painter.
    8. Convenience Store – Midnight to 8 am.
    9. Pizza Delivery Punk – Hated this job.
    10. Taco Bell – Register Monkey and Cook.
    11: Drove a John Deer 8820 combine at wheat harvest once.

    16. Backhoe operator - Ordnance digs - Digging up live bombs with a backhoe - sound fun?

    18. Graduate Teaching Assistant - Cartography.
    19. Graduate Research Assistant – Ogallala Aquifer Mapping.
    20. dBase IV Programmer for the US Army -summers as a civilian while in college.
    21. Manager of a Seven-County Environmental Management District.
    22. Zoning Administrator/Planner/Web Monkey for a County.
    23. Web designer at nights.
    24. Library Network Administrator
    25. Adjunct Faculty for a local Community College at nights.

    Strangest job? Selling frozen orange icees at a Renaissance Faire. Ironically enough, my neckline tended to look like that of my avatar... nothing like the good ol' Renaissance fair corsets and push up bras. My how things come around full circle.

    1. Cashier at produce market - we couldn't use calculators or machines to add people's bill's - all on paper bags.
    2. Waitress at various family and greek diner type restaurants
    3. Door to door canvasser for New York State Public Interest Research Group
    4. Taco Bell - E.G. Didn't you love the sour cream caulking gun?
    5. Books a million cashier
    6. GIS Tech
    7. Three nights of loading service trucks for Sears
    8. College Dining Hall worker - my bubbling personaity and proclivity for a heavy hand in the toppings earned me the "Fro Yo Girl" moniker in undergrad - people would come up to me on campus or at parties and tell me i was their favorite frozen yogurt server. hee.
