MA programs w/emphasis on Latin America

Just found this forum-a great resource. I'd love to hear from anyone with info on 1)good MA programs w/emphasis on Latin Am. (i'm looking at cornell, UT-Austin as top schools currently) and 2)what kind of job opps. are there for MA grads with concentrations in econ. development (both nationally & internationally). i feel i need to better understand the career options before heading into the application process.

    Hola Amy

In Montreal (beautiful and cold Canada!), the INRS (Institut National de Recherche Scientifique) offers graduate programs in international planning and related stuff.
Sponsored by one of the affiliated non-profit organization, I went to Mexico the two past summers. It was a great experience.

But, of course, you would have to learn French!!
