    Any wheeler dealers out there??

    Dialogue leads to co-operation

    Co-operation leads to trust

    Trust leads to trade

    Trade leads to the future.....

Can we help each other out and maybe put some non-productive assets back to work? ------And hopefully take the pressure off some families by providing a job or two..

Right now I am looking for rail cars--hopper and center beams..

Also a market for activated charcoal-- got lots and lots of wood fibre to do something with...

I'm also looking for communities to develop bi-lateral trade deals with..

We really don't have to leave this stuff to the feds...

    Anyone interested??

    Graham.

Are you talking the real thing or models?! I can help with the latter, not the former - I know it can be tough getting railways to provide good service to small shippers.

Actually the real thing-- Local middle-sized ( 500 k - 1m bdft/ shft.) operations can't get a stable supply causing havoc as they use them for rolling storage. Hopper cars are for the wood pellet industry-- ( Bio-Mass energy ) shipped bulk to Europe for central heat and power generation...

We are considering developing a managed fleet which will owned and operated by the industry. Fleet size small-- around 500 wagons.

Gov't. of Canada has announced $ 2 bn for port development on the West Coast..

    Still need rail cars....

Anybody need wood products-- house logs??

    Bio-mass energy products??

    Agricultural products??

I'm sure I'm not the only ec dev. guy looking for some synergy..
Come on, post your list and let's see what we can match up.

I'm hopeful we can make some partnerships happen..

How are you going to construct?- Timber Frame, stick built, engineered wood?

I have a client who is clearing an Ag lease and has some big douglas fir if you need beams....( this is the really good stuff.. )

    Mill gate pricing of course..

Now what do you make in your community that we can create some bi-lateral trade with??

    Please excuse my ignorance....

I'm not sure of the ec dev. structure that the US fedral gov't./ State Gov't. have in place. Don't they have regional ec dev. support to assist communities in co-ordinating their activities??

What about support for the social enterprise sector??

If not, this is a carreer/ consulting opportunity..... at least in up here...

    Graham.
