Thread: Hair!

  1. #1

    Poll: HAIR

No no no-- not the musical. Let's talk hair color, whether natural or "enhanced" by Miss Clairol or Grecian Formula for men. In your experience with the opposite sex, what has been your preference (or success rate). I've always failed terribly at dating blonde men. Seems that the brunettes with moustaches keep popping into my life.

    Choices:
    Blondes: Have more fun
    Brunettes: Yeah baby!
Redhead: Light my fire you little spitfire!
Gray: Aged like a fine wine. No need for color enhancement.
    None: Bald. Sleek. Love it.
Other: You're gonna have to define this one!

I would go bald if I could. However the association of bald gun nuts with the Nazi party precludes holding a planner's job. Otherwise brown with increasing gray with variable facial hair.

My wife has jet black hair with little hints of steel blue in the sun light. It is very nice. No hint of a moustache on her yet.

Dark hair for the men I date though a goodly number have been silver or none at all. Curly hair seems to be the big thing too.

Dark hair and blue eyes or big brown ones.

Ok - I was terribly confused when I read that Tran is having luck with brunettes with mustaches! We've all seen her picture - but after my second cup of coffee, i've reasoned it out.

Anyway - I went with the blondie, which is what my husband is, for maybe 10 more years, and then he's bald.

Sorry for the confusion K - I suddenly realized that I could just merge threads instead of having to totally redo the thing!

BTW - haven't seen a pic of you yet...

As to hair colour preferences for me...well, I love redheads - I'm marrying one, though she is originally a brunette!

Oops...probably shouldn't have let her secret out.

I brought one in today to scan and post, but the office with the scanner is still locked, so at some point today. The one on our town site is 25 pounds ago (8 of those are hair), so I grabbed a more recent pic.

I was born with red hair and usually with the help of clairol still am.

    Usually shaved head and goatee.

A few years ago I was in Chicago for St Patty's Day, wearing a black leather jacket and shades, and people actually crossed the street to avoid me. It was fun.

Like I said before, my wife is a hair sylist, so the color and style is variable. I think I like it red the best though. My ex was blonde if that means anything.

I was born a redhead....and as a kid it was bright orange/red...however, as I've aged, the hair has become darker, almost brown...but my goatee is still red.

My wife was born a blonde, but is now a reddish brown (originally by hair coloring....but it seems to have stuck...which I LIKE). I never had luck with blondes in my past ....

    i am the modern man

brown spikey or messy hair and a chin goatee or 'half-goat'

i used to dye my hair in college quite a bit, red, blonde, bleach blonde, etc. no greens or blue, although extreamly tempted.

    now i feel...so conservatitve.

BTW, is facial hair required for most male planners.
In my office, i'm the only one with it.

    Personally....

I don't think I have even been with a blonde before. Most have had brown to dark brown hair.

I am a SUCKER for a goatee (no idea why). Unfortunately, my fiance, who is a professional firefighter, can't have any facial hair except for a mustache. Which, for what it's worth, I just can't like. (no offense to those that have them)

I love redheads ... darker red hair, preferably.

Realistically, I tend to gravitate to brunettes over blondes, only because they seem more "accessible."

For some reason, I have more success dating blondes than brunettes.

FWIW, women who were born in Michigan always rip my heart out, show it to me, take a bite out of it while it's still beating, drop it to the ground, and stomp on it as if they were trying to put out a fire. I always hit it off spectacularly with Michigan women, but they aways break my heart in the most spectacular, painful manner. I now have a "no Michigan women" dating policy. Seriously. The moment a woman mentions her parents "back in Livonia" or something, I know I'm being set up for a kill that would make Ted Nugent proud.

maybe this just isn't as much an issue for women. before rob, I ran the gamut from dark italians to blonder than the Nelson twins. I'd say I'm a bigger sucker for an accent than anything else. Back in my younger, more foolish days, I made my ex-boyfriend talk with either an australian or irish accent in the heat of things. Accents, and sense of humor. And a really fat wallet. kidding!

Me - bald enough that I just have the barber hit me with a "2" everywhere that I've got hair. I just think guys that are balding should admit it, cut it short, and get on with life. Any other option just looks, well, sad...

My wife is dirty blonde, with a slight Yankee accent (e.g., she puts her clothes in "drahs"). Odd, since before her I dated almost exclusively brunettes with foreign accents.

I guess this should go on another thread, but here I am, from my security badge photo:
