    L.A. random pics 2002 (broadband?)

These pics were taken back in 2002, but I just found them today while cleaning out the desk. Good time out in La La Land with friends. Taken with a disposable camera.

Crop circles somewhere out west, taken from plane. Damn woman sitting next to me kept trying to climb over me to look out the window

Forest fire below, before landing. I think it was some L.A. park?

    Skyline from some freeway.

I think this was from when we left.

    Downtown somwhere.

    Freeway shot

Rumpy with one of his friends, Kitty. Get a haircut you damn hippie

Somewhere downtown, I must of attended to many teddy bear picinics that week

    Near Little Mexico I think.

East L.A. It smelled pretty bad.

    Chinatown

    Santa Monica Beach I think.

Venice beach. Guy walking over broken glass with girl in tow.

    The canals at sunset.

    End of tour.
A guy once told me, "Do not have any attachments, do not have anything in your life you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you spot the heat around the corner."

I love LA, we love it!
LA is a really cool place to drive around, it's all so spread out. Nice pics. Thanks

    Nice photos!!!

I will have to visit LA one of these days.
I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

The ends can justify the means.

Chinatown looks like it was located in Epcot.

Now we finally know what the tunanator looks like!

That's not me, just a stunt double from 3 years ago

I probally should have taken more pictures when I was out there (too much celebration ), although maybe I'll get out there again sometime.

I should probably get out and explore south of the border more often.

Nice pics... and you got the beach names right, even after 3 years. Good memory!

I love LA too. I went last year. I couldn't believe how dense it is.

I hate LA- no sense of place what-so-ever-... dirty air, sidewalks, etc,- that's why I live north- near the Redwoods much better- WAY peaceful

Yeah, the new 'clean cut' 'professional' Rumpy caught me off guard last night when we met up. I was looking for the old hippy Rumpy from Buff State.
