    Hi from Wyoming

Hi everybody, my name is Aaron and I'm completing my Master's degree in Planning at the University of Wyoming. Right now I'm finishing my thesis which is looking at the feasability of a city-wide bus system for Laramie, WY, hopefully I will be defending next month. My other interests include Open Space and Billboards/Sign regulations.

I knew I wanted to be a planner when I took an entry level planning class during my junior year of college. Since then I figured out what subfields I'm interested in and applied one of them towards my thesis.

I've learned a lot from this website so far from interviewing, to good examples of planning and the importance of networking.

Hope you all have a great day!

Really? Well thatís amazing since most of everything here has absolutely nothing to due with planning but donít let that discourage you as most of us really donít have a life because many of us are govít employees that come home from work and drink beer and wine in excess during the evenings and comment here for no apparent reason except to post pad and see who can write the longest sentence without really conveying a cognizant message yet still past the straight face test. Oh, by the way, welcome from the Florida panhandle and you have a good day, too.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Welcome from the Washington DC metro area
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Ben Franklin

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"

    Hello from Houston!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

Welcome, from just south of you. About 6 miles east of Ram Nation.

Good to have another pseudo local here.
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

    Welcome from NW Ohio.

In NW Ohio we have corn and soy beans and train tracks and Catholics. Enjoy your walk through Cyburbia's mean streets.

If you have any grass, ship it south to Ram Nation. They have a tundra issue.
