With the sudden increase in gas prices, people have begun to commute to work via bicycle. This dramatic increase has led to wheel to wheel traffic in the bike lanes and it is feared that road rage amongst cyclists will spike.

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"

"Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country."

One of the unforeseen side effects of gas prices reaching $5.00 a gallon is the dreaded line at the air pump. In a related story, air pump prices have gone up from $0.25 per 2 minutes of pump time to $2.00.
