    Detroit and Windsor...

I will be flying to Detroit this weekend for a wedding...I am told the boys will be going to Windsor for a night, as well.

Where should I go drinking in both cities. Now, remember your audience; SWM, 30, in town for ONLY the weekend.

    Thanks for your help...

Where exactly are you staying in that area? Actually *in* Detroit, or a suburb?

Canada allows full nudity booby bars if your interested.

Greektown in Detroit is pretty cool. There are also some decent bars near Comerica Park downtown.

Last time I was in Windsor it was kind of a blur. All I know is that there were tons of bars clustered in one area. There were lots of dance clubs. There were also a lot of nudie bars, as SW MI Planner stated.

Two places in Bloomfield Hills that are excellent:

    The Moose Preserve
    Square Lake/Woodward Ave

Mt. Chalet - Corner of 14 mile and Woodward (btw Birmingham and Royal Oak

Above advise is from a friend of mine, so I don't have much info on them, and you can't hold me responsible. I personally like Royal Oak, which is purty darn close to Bloomfied Hills.

    Ah, windsor and detroit.

If you like BBQ go to the Tunnel BBQ in windsor. Great sauce good ribs.

No lack of adult entertainment facilities either, from what i remember the best 2 are cheetahs and the million dollar room. (it is across the street from the bus station)

Bars change names so quick there its hard to know their name, but basically any of the ones near ouellette and wyandotte should be good. For history visit the Dominion House (The DH)
It is one of the oldest whole in thewalls around. The building has been a bar since the1850's and the DH has been present since the 1780's in some form or another. It is a university spot.

If you like live blues try aardvark's. (University Avenue right downtown) Just take a gas mask as it is so smokey you can't breathe.

If consumption of alcohol is key to having fun, take the Hiram Walker Tour (bottler of CC and other ryes). Walkerville is pretty intersting place to stroll through. it is a company town built in response to slums of the industrial revolution.

When I left windsor, the casino's were just opening, who knows what the night life is like there now.

In detroit, if looking for mexican food try either sewshees (the way it is pronounced, no Idea how to spell it) or mexican town. Both were pretty good from my memory.
Too lazy to beat myself up for being to lazy to beat myself up for being too lazy to... well you get the point....
