Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.
Apparently I was the source of someone else's earworm and received the following text message:
"I have the beat to a song stuck in my head. I don't know the name of it, but it might be Eminem. You and Clinton were both singing it on the deck of The Sub at one of the later parties. Any idea??"
I must've been piss drunk to be rapping Eminem on the deck at our friend's house (aka The Sub) with the Pirate (aka Clinton). It took a couple of guesses but it was Lose Yourself![]()

"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011
Some rich men came and raped the land
Nobody caught 'em
Put up a bunch of ugly boxes
And Jesus, people bought 'em
And they called it paradise - "the place to be"
They watched the hazy sun sinking in the sea
been stuck in my head for several days now ...
I have seen
old ships sailing
like swans asleep
does anyone really know what time it is
does anyone really care

With the release of the new movie, this one's been in my head all morning.
When Captain America throws his mighty shield,
All those who chose to oppose his shield must yield.
If he's lead to a fight and a duel is due,
Then the red and white and the blue'll come through.
When Captain America throws his mighty shield.![]()
