It was a shade before this bum landed on cyburbia, but what was the big deal that day. Was it an organized "hey this would be cool" or did El Guapo get everybody in a tizzy? (sorry EG)

I just want to know if their is/was significance to the occasion.

There were a ton of google and yahoo search spiders cataloging the site that day. Happens every so often.

Hey, I looked good in that movie! It was one of my better works!

In reality I think it was a full moon, not so nice weather, and everyone was worked up.

Lots of spiders that day cataloging the pages. One time though in July 2003 (I think) we had a ton of people online for some topic or other. Every once in awhile we'll get a lot of guests looking at old threads like 'tongue splitting' where there probably aren't many other discussions out there on the net.

Seems it was from people searching for the Do Not Call List and we had an active thread under that name. I wonder how many people ended up joining and sticking around after stumbling across our little piece of the web?

I have noticed on many occasions that the guests lurking here out number members 2 to 1. That (lurking as a guest) was my original plan. I intended to infiltrate and learn as much about planning as I could. Perhaps breed (kidding) and then.....I got sucked in and have been an addict ever since then. I just made it over the miniscule 50 post mark of slackerdom. Its not much, but give me time.
