    Your Political Compass...

I found this exercise to be genuinely interesting...it even seems to have some science behind it...

    www.politicalcompass.org

    My political compass:
    Economic Left/Right: 3.75
    Authoritarian/Libertarian: 2.97

Smack dab in the middle of the Authoritarian-Right box...next to Thatcher.
"Dear Prudence...won't you open up your eyes? "

I would have expected to be more right and up.

Some of the questions are pretty bad, especially about immigrants.

Why is it that Jews are the only group of people ever identified in these things?

I'm a typical lefty-libertarian. A little more centrist than some of you anarchistic heathen communists, though.

I said some pretty nasty things, though *hangs head in shame*.

I thought that they had a few 'wrong' questions, though. For a start, the issue is not whether the way the jews were treated for 2000 years was partly their fault (pardon?) but whether a 2000 year old claim to a home-land justifies their treatment of the neighbours/people who have been living there for at least the last 100 (no!). And I'm not saying that palastinian terrorist attacks are justified, I'm just pointing out that jewish no longer means put upon...

And it's not just Maggie's mothball smell, it's the whole insanity problem she has.
