Curious if anyone has had past experience with assessment bonds as a positive/negative consequences and/or results from using them in your local community. Would be appreciative of any case studies and thoughts you had on the topic.

Around here, Special Assessment B Bonds have fallen out of favor in recent years, due to very low commercial lending rates. They were popular in the early 1980's and the first half of the 1990's when rates were MUCH higher and banks were not taking on the risk associated with land development.
