    Happy Birthday Gedunker!!!

From one squarehead to another, have a good one Dane

    Happy Birthday!
"We do not need any other Tutankhamun's tomb with all its treasures. We need context. We need understanding. We need knowledge of historical events to tie them together. We don't know much. Of course we know a lot, but it is context that's missing, not treasures." - Werner Herzog, in Archaeology, March/April 2011

And a very happy birthday to everybody's favorite.....Gedunker.

Try not to hurt yourself blowing out the candles. Remember the safe way.....get a firm grip on your walker, lean forward, take a deep-breath (after removing your oxygen), and give it yer all.

I have used this technique for years. It hasn't affected me in any adverse way at all. In fact, jucrt s,sdfdj39rusgdeg!

    Happy birthday!

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

    Happy Birthday Gedunker

In your honour I shall celebrate tonight by; drinking Carlsberg, eating bacon, playing with lego, and watching a compilation of Peter Schmeichel's greatest saves.

Happy Birthday and wishing you many happy returns of the day
"They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Ben Franklin

Remember this motto to live by: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO- HOO what a ride!'"

    Happy birthday!

I didn't want to pay the postage to ship you a gift so instead I baked a cake, set it on an old inter-tube and floated it down the river. Look for it in a couple of months.
I hope the candles don't burn out before then.

Best Wishes, Dunker. Hope the is cold.
You get all squeezed up inside/Like the days were carved in stone/You get all wired up inside/And it's bad to be alone

You can go out, you can take a ride/And when you get out on your own/You get all smoothed out inside/And it's good to be alone

    Happy birthday!
People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor

Happy belated! We drank a round in your honor at Stanfest, although we didn't realize it at the time.
SOME say the world will end in fire, Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate
To know that for destruction ice
    Is also great
    And would suffice.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Mrs. G bought me a table saw for my birthday and I put it to use on Saturday, trying to finish installing exterior trim around the new windows from the kitchen project. Spent the 7th having a nice quiet day at the in-laws, boat ride on the Ohio (biscuit -- I spied something odd and flaming floating down the river but it didn't look too edible) Yesterday we took the kids to Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. I don't know how it happened, but my kids and wife love the water park and I do not. I love the Raven and the Legend, and my wife and kids do not. How could this be?

noj-- if Schmeichel had just made a few of those saves in the World Cup, ahhh. Ughhh.

Thanks again for the wishes, 45 isn't too hard. Yet.
