Hey KidsOriginally posted by Federal Bureaucrats Who Are Paid to Keep the Costs Down No Matter Who Has to Die
Did my government just tell me they care about me? And then they said "Oh, by the way your chances of death of brain cancer is twice that of similar veterans who were never exposed to the nasty stuff we exposed you too." Paraphrasing: And you should be comforted by the fact that non-exposed vets are expiring at the exact same rate your cohort is dieing overall. Yippee!
Hey, but wait there is more great news! Doesn't all this mean those non-exposed guys have to being dieing at twice the rate of something else, or our exposure to the toxins is somehow making us die at half the rate of the regular fellows? So Gulf War Syndrome is good in its own way? It's like what spiderman got from the radioactive spider. Its sort of a Mother of all Vitamins!
Oh, and the other good news is that NERVE AGENT is not in the least bit carcinogenous. I mean short-term exposure to nerve agent can be handled by getting more Lycopene in our diets right? And the only thing that really causes brain cancer is radiation. It says so in this report. And we all know there was no depleted uranium shot in that war. Right? Nudge, Nudge, Know what I mean, Know what I mean? I mean who would be crawling around in old tanks that got shot by depleted uranium slugs in war? Come on? Who would do a job like that?
In all seriousness can anyone guess what el guapo might do if - God forbid - his brain were to get all out of wack? I shudder to think.
Thanks for letting me rant.
