Does anyone know of an effective parking formula for office buildings? Is it common to base standards on "gross floor area" or some measurement of usable space?

ours is 1 space per 300 sqft of floor area devoted to the use - it's kinda vague, but seems to work OK.

4 spaces per 1000 of GFA

Dude, I'm cheesing so hard right now.
