Very funny. Did you make that? Looks like a graphic design project. That's actually a good idea, a traffic/highway magazine of some sort.

First glance it looks real professional and all serious like
but reading the "article" headlines -
    Oddball
Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?
    From Kelly's Heroes (1970)

Are you sure you're not hurt ?
No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

That's pretty funny. One thing that's telling though is the comment on MARTA. Public transit will never work there if it's perceived as the black person's mode of travel.

It was created by a web app:

    http://flagrantdisregard.com/flickr/magazine.php

Just supply the photo from a flickr account and the text and the program does the rest. Since there is no preview, I ended up with overlapping text but after four or five modifications it was ok.

Maybe we should have a contest...

Pete-rock, yeah there is that perception here. The more ignorant "I'm not a racist, I knew a black guy in college" crowd likes to joke that MARTA stands for Moving Africans Rapidly Through Atlanta. But it really depends on where you live. In the 'burbs MARTA means government waste, socialism, and certain death. In the city people are more likely to have actually set foot on it and know better. Overall that's changing. More people are moving intown but many of them still have never used it. I live two blocks from a station and I'd say about half the people in my building have never been on a MARTA train and certainly not a bus. Also usage by those in the 'burbs is picking up some, I think primarily by the younger crowd who wants to see for themselves and by transplants from other cities that mass transit. Overall though, it is still annoying just how much hatred there is in the region for MARTA (especially since the state makes no regular allotment of funds for MARTA) but an love for our road system that really couldn't be described as anything but socialist.

That is great. I sent the link to my family and friends back home in the ATL.

So did I, but haven't heard back yet.....I wonder if they liked it?
Atlanta along with Phoenix is the poster child for sprawl and road building as a recreational sport....

That is too funny. The same could be used for Michigan too.
