I got married in July!

Congratulations!!! On the beach...how cool.
My brother proposed to his girlfriend in July...I guess that's something, especially since I get to be best man.

Congrats, man!!! Looks like you chose a nice location.
Greatest moment of this summer for me was the birth of my nephew, Owen. Well, technically he was born June 7, which isn't actually "Summer", but who cares, he's a cutey anyhow.
Plus, he is the first grandchild for my parents.
EDIT: Also, my wife finished Law School.

I'm sorry. Is my bias showing?
Lesuire Greatest: Basball!
Career Greatest: A nice raise!!
Family Greatest: Birth of my first niece/nephew!
Dude, I'm cheesing so hard right now.
Congratualtions on the marriage! And I think your wife has great taste in dresses - from what I can see (zoomed in) of hers, it looks like mine!!
For me, highlights of the summer include:
Paying off two credit cards!
Celebrating 1 year of marriage!
Husband getting a raise!

CONGRATULATIONS! Beautiful pictures - where exactly did this wonderful event take place?

Serious reply: Not in the summer, but in May I got my own apartment.![]()
First of all Congratulations on the wedding! That must be exciting.
I went on a weeklong road trip to visit grand parents, one I have not seen in a few years because she was living in Atlanta.
I finally got organized! (Day Planner and an organizational system at home)
I met several other Cyburbia people.
I am sure that there are other things that I am just forgetting.

Thanks everyone!
On Lake Michigan, near Charlevoix. It rained for about 15 minutes, beginning about 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the ceremony. We waited for it to stop raining. When it stopped, we wiped all the seats off, took a chance, and carried on with our plan. When the clouds broke, the ceremony started. Not a single drop of rain came down during the festivities on the beach! We were lucky and it was a beautiful ceremony!Originally posted by urbanchik
Bought my first home in August
Found out my wife was pregnant with out 2nd child in August
Those are the top two.

People will miss that it once meant something to be Southern or Midwestern. It doesn't mean much now, except for the climate. The question, “Where are you from?” doesn't lead to anything odd or interesting. They live somewhere near a Gap store, and what else do you need to know? - Garrison Keillor
A week with family down at the Jersey Shore.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves?
Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here?
Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

No. Just some parts wake up faster than others.
Broke parts take a little longer, though.

Congratulations on the wedding Wanigas? -- best wishes for many years of happiness together.
My best moment this summer was my successful recovery from un-expected gall bladder surgery.

- Getting my family all under one roof with me once again. (From 12/04 through 6/05, I lived 5 hours from the spouse & kids during the work week. It sucked....)
- My daughter learned to walk.
All these years the people said he’s actin’ like a kid.
He did not know he could not fly, so he did.

I was waiting for a picture!! Congrats again Wanigas - you guys looked great, and even with a little rain it looks like it turned out wonderful!
Nothing too exciting for me this summer!
Family Reunion in Greenville, ME.
The whole fam damily got together and had a rip-roaring good time on the pond.
It's been a tough summer... but I would have to say the best things were getting my Land Use Bylaw (zoning ordinance) Update passed by Council in July and also in July we hired two new employees so now I have a full team again! Yay!
Well my summer passed almost a year ago...so I don't remeber much. The Bierfest was good... back in late January..
And the places I went were quite good too... Although I'll see if the 2006 summer will be better, specially if there's the chance to meet Greenescapist...

The greatest momment of the summer was the whole summer. Mom was diagnosed with a severe cancer the day before mother's day and we did not expect to see her make it this far. No need for celebrations such as worthy with weddings, births or new houses, but I am thrilled none the less that she has responded well to treatment thus far.
Wanigas, congrats. What was the date? Mine was the 16th. With you, me and Suburb Repairman that's three, but I am sure there are more. I wonder how close Zman and mskis are? Close to giving in??? j/k![]()
I'd be more apathetic if I weren't so lethargic.
Zman is already in her back pocket and in a constant state of denial and marrying yourself isn't legal in Michigan.Originally posted by michiganplanner
