Guess the City 272 (No Picture Edition # 27)

I,ve only been a city since the 1960's. Before then there was nobody here.
I have a man made historical structure which is over 180 years old.
I have no neighboring citys or towns.
My founder built a factory here.

Well, with 20 views and no guesses, I'll add a clue:

I,ve only been a city since the 1960's. Before then there was nobody here.
I have a man made historical structure which is over 180 years old.
I have no neighboring citys or towns.
My founder built a factory here.
My water and electricity stem from a dam.

    Mesquite, NV or Silverthorne, Colorado.

Sorry, Las Vegas was there long before the 60's
It's not Mesquite, NV or Silverthorne, Colorado either

    Keep guessing.

Dang! Why didn't I think of this one (1)? That Bill acts like it's his birthday or something.

Damn, that was too easy or I gave it away with too many clues.

Congrats Bill you are the Grand Prize Winner.

Founded in 1964 Lake Havasu City, AZ was conceived by Robert McCulloch (the chain saw tycoon)

McCulloch built a chainsaw assembly plant there to start things off.

He purchased the sinking London Bridge in 1968 and had it reassembled on dry land on a penensula in Lake Havasu, the land was then removed around it to change it to an island.
