Greetings from the tiny island nation of Singapore!
I'm a transport planner in a private firm in Singapore and my affiliations to the US are...
1. I'm a Boilermaker (Purdue University)
2. Used to work in Indianapolis
3. Aspire to get into the UC Berkeley City Planning Graduate program
I actually graduated with a BSc in Civil Engineering but have been involved in transport planning and traffic engineering for 5 years already (since 2000). In this rather short span, I've done projects in the US, Singapore, Vietnam, Jakarta, Bangkok, Beijing, Dubai, etc. The list keeps growing... but I wish to learn more from others as much as I would like to share my experience too. Ultimately, I wanna gain more insight into the overall master planning profession and be the transport expert.
I'm a triathlete and a freelance photographer in my leisure time and I take part in multisport races regularly just so that I can keep myself motivated to stay fit and healthy. I also love nature.
cheers to all in the profession!

) Is it still against the law to own a vehicle more than 10 years old? Have they priced vehicles completely out of the city for all but the richest of the rich? Any new mass transit ideas or plans that are of interest?
Is there really a Tiger painted under one of the tables at the Raffles??
